A creative Huntingdonshire school pupil has won a Christmas card design competition by putting pen to paper and capturing the magic of the festive season.
Kieran Stapleton, eight, won the Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service Christmas card competition, which attracted 300 entries.
The Great Gidding Primary School pupil was praised for his use of colours and humour to portray a serious fire safety message.
Kieran's card shows Santa's red suit catching on fire after a lit candle falls over.
Chief Fire Officer Graham Stagg said: "Kieran's design captured the eyes and hearts of the judging panel.
"Everyone involved in the judging process has been overwhelmed with the level of imagination and creativity displayed by every entrant."
Kieran, pictured with firefighter Andy Tucker, was awarded £50 in Sainsbury's vouchers and given a tour of Huntingdon Fire Station.
