The grand total of £744 was raised at a Ladies Evening held by Playtimes Playgroup in Spaldwick, and Friends of Spaldwick School (Foss), at Spaldwick School. And now, the transport and logistics company Excel has pledged to double the money.

£1 from every ticket sold was donated to Holly Ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, where the £146 raised will buy a new toy car for the children to drive themselves to theatre when they need an operation. This donation will be doubled by Excel to £292.

The rest of the cash raised will be split between Playtimes and Foss.
