THE past Mayor of Huntingdon, Councillor Jeff Dutton, chose us as one the charities to benefit from his fund-raising last year.

At the recent annual meeting of Huntingdon Town Council, we were presented with a cheque for a magnificent sum which will enable our work to continue next year.

To say we are most grateful to Jeff is an understatement. We thank him not only for this but also for his interest and help to our carer members, for they really are the forgotten ones who give their care and devotion to maintain life and dignity in another person without payment and with very little recognition of their own needs.
