A BROKEN down lorry has caused mayhem to motorists in St Ives this morning (Wednesday).
Lengthy queues built up around the town after the lorry broke down on Harrison Way, between the guided bus crossing and Meadow Lane roundabout, going towards the town, at 7.35am.
Cambridgeshire police were called and officers have handed the incident over to the Highway Agency and the lorry driver has arranged recovery.
A spokesman for the Cambridgeshire County Council Traffic Manager Team said: “All lanes have been cleared. Some delays will remain.”
