A NUMBER of patients at Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon had to be moved after a car burst into flames outside the main entrance.

Firefighters spent half an hour tackling the blaze in the vehicle which had been caused by an electrical fault.

The fire broke out shortly before noon on Sunday (October 18) and patients in wards above the main entrance were moved to reduce the risk of smoke inhalation.
