Overnight roadworks on the A1 start on Monday for two weeks
WORK to improve the road surface on a 19-mile section of the A1 between the A1(M) Junction 10 near Letchworth and the Brampton Hut turn-off south of Huntingdon will start on Monday (August 23).
The work will be carried out in eight separate phases over 14 nights and will involve carriageway closures between 8pm and 6am on weeknights. There will be clearly signed diversion routes in place for each separate carriageway closure, the Highways Agency says.
