THIEVES stole prescription drugs and beauty products from a pharmacy after breaking into the building in St Ives.
Burglars forced their way into Lloyds Pharmacy, The Pavement, between 6.30pm on Saturday, September 29, and just before 1am on Sunday, September 30.
After breaking into the store, offenders removed the prescription drugs cabinet containing a quantity of controlled drugs.
Cambridgeshire police said a large amount of perfume and beauty products were also stolen with a value of several thousand pounds.
DS Gaye Mallows, investigating, said: "We are appealing for witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at the time to get in touch.
"The medication that was contained in the cabinet could prove dangerous if taken, so we are urging anyone with information to come forward."
