I READ with great interest the articles on Hunts Post Bunny Club. I was also a member in the 1930s. My sister and I sent pennies to Uncle Bunny.
You must realise that pennies were hard to come by in those days and there were few spare ones.
I was in Huntingdon County Hospital in about 1939 and Uncle Bunny came round and spoke to us all.
That same year I was selected to attend the Christmas Party at the hospital in the children's ward. I believe this was in conjunction with the Bunny Club and a draw was held for places at the party.
