YOUNG musicians at St Anne's School in Godmanchester have been filling the school with trophies following their musical success. For the fourth year running, the school's junior choir, which involves children aged seven and under, has won its section of the Peterborough Music Festival. Those youngsters are too young to compete in the Rotary Young Musicians Competition, but the senior choir, the vocal quartet and the instrumental ensemble all competed before the end of term in the semi-final in Northampton, and have all won through to the final at Melton Mowbray on April 29. Pictured here with the junior choir are brother and sister, Millie and James Harris, aged 11 and nine, who won the instrumental section of the Rotary contest with their recorders. Millie is also a member of the vocal quartet with other Year 6 pupils, Daisy Jacobson, Edward Jones and Christopher Smith.
