A BODY has been discovered by a lake in St Ives.
The body, believed to be that of a middle-aged woman, was found this morning (Monday) near the lakes to the north of Meadow Lane.
Police have said they are not treating the death as suspicious. The area has been cordoned off and police officers are at the scene.
The area is a popular spot with fishermen and dog walkers - one fisherman has been helping police with their enquiries.
The body was discovered at approximately 7.20am this morning and the police helicopter was called out to photograph the area at around 8.30am.
