FIREFIGHTERS from Huntingdon, Sawtry, Ramsey and Chatteris were called to a blaze at RAF Alconbury on Wednesday (October 17) morning.
Crews were alerted to the fire at 6.30am in an industrial unit measuring 30 metres by 30 metres and used for vehicle preparation.
The cause of the fire, which was still being fought more than two hours later, is not yet known.
