HUNTINGDONSHIRE'S binmen are out today in spite of this morning's snow. The district council today revealed how it plans to catch up with bins that were not emptied yesterday for safety reasons.
But it warned that today's provisional arrangements could change again if the weather worsened.
Grey bins or sacks not collected yesterday (Thursday) will be collected today (Friday). There will be no green bin (garden waste) collections today - these will be collected on the next scheduled collection day.
Blue bins/green boxes (dry recyclable) not collected yesterday will be collected on the next scheduled collection day when extra recyclable materials, separated and placed with the bin or box, will be collected, HDC said.
Grey bins or sacks and blue bins/green boxes due for collection today will be collected as normal.
INFORMATION: Any changes to the arrangements will be posted on huntsdc.gov.uk on a direct link from the homepage.
