AS Ramsey Forty Foot claims yet another life, I wonder when the authorities will realise the folly of their decision to install speed cameras. There is little point in measuring the speed of a vehicle which doesn't reach the end of the road, nor will it provide any revenue from fining drivers.
Wouldn't it be more sensible to spend £300,000 on erecting a suitable crash barrier?
