Corn Exchange tribute gig
AS an annual tribute to guitarist Tom Jones, killed aged 17 in April last year in a hit and run accident, another gig will be performed at Cambridge Corn Exchange.
Cambridgeshire-based FMS promotions want to present the best bands in Cambridge and two international special guests to take part in a celebration of independent music in tribute to Tom, bassist in the Ramsey band Inkus. The event will be on Saturday, January 27.
Two tribute events to Tom last year, raised £3,500 for the MS Therapy Centre in Huntingdon, the chosen charity of Tom's family.
The search has begun to find the best local talent available to play the event, and demos are now being accepted. Send yours to: FMS Promotioins Ltd, PO BOX 70, Huntingdon, PE25 9AQ. See www.myspace.com/fmspromotions
