DISRUPTION was caused on the A14 when a lorry shed 16 bales of hay onto the carriageway at the Spittals Interchange in Huntingdon.
The hay came loose at about 12.30pm on Monday (January 18) and fell onto the eastbound carriageway resulting in the road being closed.
Farm machinery was sent to the scene to help lift the hay off the road and back onto the lorry.
The route was clear by 2.30pm.
