Attempted murder trial date set for next year

A HUNTINGDON man, accused of attempting to murder a 28-year-old man, has had his trial date set.

Luke Bruce, 21, of Wolff Close, Sapley, will enter a plea at Cambridge Crown Court on March 2 to the charge of attempting to murder Grant Barham, also from Huntingdon.

Mr Barham was seriously assaulted at the skate park near Huntingdon's Sapley Square at about 10.15pm on December 12.

Mr Barham remained in a serious condition at Addenbrooke's Hospital's neurology care unit on Friday. Mr Bruce was remanded in custody.
