MAY I suggest that the whole £1million donation to St Neots should be used for the benefit of youngsters of school age until 18 years and that St Neots council should ask school-children what they want.
Members of the council should make it their duty to understand the requirements of teenagers who may not know how to use their spare time. But these youngsters are highly efficient in their use of i-pods, mobile phones, text messaging and computers.
I cannot think of another way to say it but hoodies, yobs and layabouts of both sexes must have something better to do in their spare time than hang around on street corners (or the town square) and who better to ask than the kids themselves? They would probably surprise everybody with some very constructive suggestions.
