TWO people have been arrested after cannabis plants and growing equipment were found at a home in Sawtry during a police drugs raid.
Officers made the discovery at a property in Beaumaris Road at 6pm on Wednesday (January 30).
A search of the property's loft space uncovered cannabis resin, herbal cannabis, 14 cannabis plants and hydroponic growing equipment.
Pc Luke Coulson, said: "This is a good example of neighbourhood policing at work and I would ask the public to let police know if they have any suspicions about properties in their area.
"This result shows we will take action against anyone growing cannabis regardless of the number of plants involved."
* A 27-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and the cultivation of cannabis have been bailed to appear at Huntingdon police station on March 26.
