A BROKEN down vehicle was set on fire near Cuckoo Bridge in Somersham.
The driver had left the Ford Maverick locked after it broke down in St Ives Road.
Firefighters were called out late on Tuesday last week.
Pc Paul Windass said: "Our officers passed the car at around 10.30pm when everything was fine.
"Between then and just over an hour later, it was set alight.
"Anyone who recalls seeing this car before it was set alight, or while it was burning, should contact me."
