HAVING moved to Godmanchester last year, I have noticed that there are one or two chess clubs in the outlying areas of Huntingdon, but none within the Huntingdon and Godmanchester area. A few friends have been meeting informally to play chess at the Comrades' Club, Godmanchester, on Wednesdays at 7 30pm.

I am hoping to start a new chess club to meet in a friendly atmosphere, and I would like to hear from anyone who would like to play chess, young or old, male or female, masterclass or novice - all would be welcome. For further details please contact me on 07912 935868.
