IN response to Richard Taplin's letter (August 27), is Brampton now to be blighted by a widened and re-routed A14 in addition to that posed by the existing, and possibly widened, A1?
It is acknowledged that the A14 is a strategically important route for the UK and Europe. However, it should not be re-routed at any cost environmentally and to the detriment of other communities.
