THE A14 was closed in both directions at Fenstanton on Thursday (August 2) morning after a van carrying containers of oil caught on fire.
Fire crews and police were called at 10.10am to reports that a van was on fire in a lay-by. The road was closed in both directions. It is believed no-one was injured.
The eastbound carriageway was reopened at 10.45am but the westbound carriageway remained closed while a clear up operation took place.
