Engineers have postponed resurfacing a three-mile stretch of the A1(M) at Sawtry.
Highways Agency contractors were due to start the roadworks between junctions 15 and 14, near Glatton Ways and the Wheatsheaf flyover, on Friday but were forced to delay as the correct safety barriers were not available.
There is no date for the new start date.
