Highways England has reminded road users of a closure coming up this weekend.

The A1 southbound between Alconbury and the A14 at Brampton Hut will be closed continuously from 9pm tonight (Friday) through to 5am on Monday (October 22).

The closure is to allow Highways England to complete upgrade works as part of the A14 Huntingdon to Cambridge upgrade.

A diversion will be in place throughout the weekend, taking drivers on the A14 towards Huntingdon before re-joining the A1 near Brampton.
