PART of the A1 carriageway will be closed for overnight resurfacing work this week (October 8-14).
The section of the A1 from the Black Cat roundabout (A421 roundabout) to Wyboston will be closed from 8pm on Monday-Thursday and 9pm on Friday-Sunday.
The 1.6-mile stretch of road will be reopened at 6am every morning.
Signed diversions will be in operation when the road is closed, via the A428 and the A1 at Tempsford.
Drivers are advised to leave extra time for their journeys.
