IT just shows how times have changed.

My father, John Howard, bought 35 High Street, Huntingdon, from the two daughters of Sir Michael Foster in 1930 and opened a fishmongers in the former doctor's surgery.

My family had a fishmongers in East Street, in St Ives, beforehand, where I was born in 1929.

Through the Second World War we sold fish and chips, which was really loved by people as it wasn't rationed.

Now the building is a Cash Converters and another shop, which is closed. It just demonstrates that a lot can happen in 70 years.
