WITH reference to the recent bike fatalities in our area, I recently attended a Bikesafe course in Peterborough which teaches the police system of motorcycle control.
Fifty-five per cent of us had had accidents, yet not one person who completed the course has had an accident since then.
The course and rideout assessment were excellent and have transformed my riding style. I am more confident and relaxed, and greatly improved observational skills mean no more
surprises - and journey times are just as quick.
It is, without question, the best £25 I have spent on my bike.
