A PROVISIONAL trial date has been set for the 19-year-old accused of causing the death of a time-trial cyclist by dangerous driving on the A1 in early May.
Major Gareth Rhys-Evans, 37, died after his machine was in collision with a car allegedly driven by Katie Hart, of Lakefield Avenue, Little Paxton.
At Huntingdon Crown Court on Thursday, Judge Patrick Moloney remanded Ms Hart on unconditional bail until October 23, when her plea will be taken. The judge set a provisional trial date for January 25 next year.
