REGARDING the proposed petrol filling station at the Rainbow Co-op in Burleigh Hill, St Ives, I would just like to add that not all the residents are against these plans being approved.
I, for one, appreciate having the convenience of the Co-op supermarket on my doorstep and I would welcome a filling station.
I have lived at my present address since before the Rainbow store was built, and I realised there would be noise, but that is a small price to pay for the convenience of having all these facilities close by.
Yes, I would welcome a filling station and I would use it. If I wanted peace and quiet then I would move somewhere else.
