THE Guitart School of Dance and the choir from Thorndown School were among the entertainers at the St Ives Christmas lights switch-on, as well as pop singer, Hannah from Estonia, currently number six in the singles charts.
There was entertainment all afternoon on Saturday. The lights were switched on by Hannah with Jonathan Djanogly, the MP for Huntingdon, Councillor Brian Luter the Mayor of St Ives and Father Christmas.
Organiser Shaun Collins told The Hunts Post: "The market square was packed and the whole thing went really well, all the acts performed well this has been one of the best years for the occasion. I would like to thank everyone who helped, the St Ives Lights Committee, St Ives Town Council, the St Ives Initiative, and JPS from St Ives who acted as the crew. The atmosphere was brilliant.
