TOURISM officers from Huntingdonshire will be in Pangbourne, near Reading, on the River Thames over the August Bank Holiday, trying to drum up business for hotels and bed and breakfast places around St Ives. They will hand out details of hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast accommodation and campsites at the Inland Waterways Association National Festival in the Berkshire town to attract them to a similar Inland Waterways Festival next year here on the Great Ouse.
A guide compiled by Huntingdonshire District Council includes accommodation and suggested itineraries for visitors.
INFORMATION: The guide is available from tourist information centres, libraries, town councils, and estate agents in Huntingdon and St Neots.
