PUPILS at Great Staughton Primary School have learnt how to professionally decorate their own Christmas cakes.
Year six pupils took part in six professional cake decorating sessions led by classroom assistant, Sheila Wells, who decorates cakes in her spare time.
The sessions, in which the children learnt how to marzipan, ice and decorate their own cakes, were also attended by the headteacher, Vyveanne Francis.
Mrs Wells said: "I really enjoyed taking the sessions and was delighted with the children's results."
Year Six pupil, Chloe Goldsmith said: "Mrs Wells is so patient and dedicated. She had taken a long time preparing everything for our lessons and showed us how to make Christmas models. They turned out a million times better than we thought they would.
