IT was smiles all round at St Ivo School in St Ives last Thursday as GCSE students achieved a 99 per cent pass rate at A*-G grades.
In addition more than 60 per cent of students obtained five or more results at A*-C.
Deputy headteacher Martin McGarry said: "Once again a pleasing performance of St Ivo students. The results are an accurate reflection of the hard work by our students and the dedicated support of teachers and parents.
"63.6 per cent of our students obtained five or more results at A*-C grades.
"There were some outstanding individual performances. Most important of all is the fact that the majority of our students gained the necessary grades to allow them to progress to the next stage of their career.
