STUDENTS at St Ivo School had another successful year, with a 97 per cent pass rate at A-level and 71 per cent of pupils obtaining grades A-C.
The St Ives school also saw a 20 per cent rise in numbers of exam entries - from 373 last year to 442 this time around.
Headteacher Howard Gilbert said: "We're very pleased with our results this year, right across the board. Staff and students have worked extremely hard to get these grades and the vast majority have got the grades they needed."
Staff were on hand to offer support and advice to students who missed out on the results they needed to get into their chosen university.
Mr Gilbert added: "We had six pupils achieve A grades and one student has earned a place at Cambridge which is an outstanding feat."
One of the top performing students was Rob Setchell, who achieved four As in drama and theatre studies, English literature, sport and physical education and history.
He said: "I'm going to take a gap year, make the most of it and then go to Sheffield to study journalism."
Louisa Lloyd-Jones achieved three A grades in government and politics, history and law.
She said: "I needed two As and a B so I actually did better than I needed. I'm going to King's College London to study law.
