FLOODING that had been anticipated along the Great Ouse is now considered unlikely, the emergency services have said.
Sand bags have been removed from homes in The Paddocks in St Neots, which had been considered among the most likely to flood.
Police are asking residents to remain vigilant, but a spokesman said that St Neots, Godmanchester, St Ives and Earith are not at serious risk of flooding.
The spokesman said: "Flooding along the Great Ouse is considered unlikely. River levels at this time are lower than in previous flooding situations.
"Any flooding is expecting to be absorbed by flood plains.
