YOUNG library users can have their say on how libraries are hitting the mark, and how they can be improved.

Cambridgeshire County Council is taking part in a national survey and needs to gather opinions about the services it provides.

The survey, which wants views from under 16s, is carried out every three years and the results are feed into the Government's performance rankings for local authorities.

CCC's library service for children is highly regarded, but the authority said it did not want to become complacent and wanted as many young people as possible to take part in the survey.

The information gathered will also be used to further improve and enhance services.

Every Cambridgeshire library, including public mobiles, will be carrying out the survey between September 17 and October 6.
