Bank staff swapped their suits for spades and wellies to create an outdoor learning environment at a St Neots school.
The Barclays staff visited Middlefield Community Primary School as part of Make a Difference Day, the UK's biggest day of volunteering. They worked with pupils to create a vegetable garden and plant bulbs.
Susannah Connell, headteacher, said: "We think it is amazing that Barclays has such a strong community programme where schools like us can benefit a great deal."
The school also received support from plantmenow.com which supplied trees to provide a woodland area and Bailey's of Norfolk, which supplied top soil and gravel.
Kate Kingshott, community relations manager at Barclays, said: "At Barclays we strive to strengthen local communities in which we live and work by supporting a range of local causes and were really excited to be able to give our time to create such a fantastic resource for the children at Middlefield School."
