SHE needs to find out where they are getting in and block this hole with wire wool or expanding foam ("Woman's plea to help solve rat problem," The Hunts Post, April 30).
Take away the food source. Poison is ineffective as, for every one rat that is killed, there is a litter of up to 21 below ground. By taking away the food source and their warmth they will go elsewhere.
