CAN someone explain to me why audiences have to scream so much while watching singers in popular television programmes?
You can bet that, as soon as anyone performing starts to sing, members of the audience go wild and just scream their heads off, so that no one can hear a word. If this is a talent show, what's the point if no one can hear anything?
It's the same with children playing in the street or in gardens. They just constantly scream at each other.
I can't remember behaving like this as a child. Perhaps this is why they end up as screaming adults.
It gets very irritating. I wish they would just clap or cheer, when the need arises, so that we can all enjoy the singing, be it good or bad.
