THE Christmas season was officially welcomed into Huntingdonshire at the weekend as St Ives, St Neots and Ramsey switched on their festive lights.
St Neots was first to light up its town on Friday with Ramsey switching into Christmas mode on the Saturday and the St Ives switch on and Dickensian Market taking place on a rather damp Sunday.
However, despite the wintery weather, each event was hailed a success and all of the families in attendance were urged to shop local for their presents this Christmas.
