I BOUGHT 50 so-called Christmas stamps last week and thought then what poor design they were this year.
I am incensed to discover that some really nice ones, with the Madonna and child, are available to buy only on-line. Is the Post Office really so ashamed of Christian images that it has to resort to such furtive means to avoid offending non-Christians in this country?
Last year, apparently, they were available from Post Offices but were kept locked up and made available only on specific request.
If sufficient people demanded them at Post Offices, they might still be made available there.
