TWO roads in Huntingdonshire, closed because of heavy rain, have now been reopened.
Motorists were being urged on Monday (November 10) not to attempt to drive through flooded roads following heavy rain.
The warning came after the Environment Agency issued a flood warning in the Huntingdonshire area on the River Kym.
A number of roads were closed on Monday as a result of flooding including London Road between Stonely and Kimbolton and the road between Hamerton village and Alconbury.
A police spokesperson said: "There has been heavy rain overnight although we believe the worst in now over.
"River levels in some areas are high and there is water on some roads and I would urge motorists not to attempt to use these roads.
"We would urge residents in affected areas to be vigilant and take any necessary precautions they can against flooding."
Both roads had reopened by 8.15am on Tuesday (November 11).
