DOZENS of fixed penalty notices (FPNs) were issued to motorists breaking the law after a police a day of action in St Neots.
Officers spent today Thursday patrolling the town and identified a total of 105 motoring offences.
There were 34 fines for failure to wear seatbelts, 12 for drivers using a mobile phone, three for motorists with no MOT, 13 for speeding, 10, for light defects, 14 for window defects and one vehicle was seized because the driver had no insurance. There were also other vehicle defects, number plate offences, tinted windows, and careless driving.
Sergeant Anna Witherow said: "We identified a lot of offences, which is disappointing, but it sends out a clear message that we will not tolerate law-breaking on the county's roads.
