Football Report: Hunts Youth League U13 Cup Final - Eynesbury Rovers Black v Buckden Hawks White.

Unbeaten in the league so far this season, Buckden Hawks suffered an unexpected cup final defeat at the hands of Eynesbury Rovers Black in an entertaining game.

The damage was done in the first 23 minutes when Eynesbury striker Charlie Omarr-Okpaise claimed a hat-trick in a 13-minute spell.

After being outplayed in the first half, Buckden rallied to dominate much of the second half but they were unable to score the goals that could have dragged them back into contention.

After a fairly even start, Charlie Omarr-Okpaise settled the outcome of this contest almost single handed with his quick fire hat-trick that began after just 10 minutes.

His second goal was courtesy of a goalkeeping error but his third effectively put his side well in control.

Just before the third goal, Rovers keeper Charlie Cox produced the save of the match to deny Jonathan Fogden.

However, Buckden rallied and the lively Fogden pulled a goal back, but they then conceded a fourth goal on the stroke of half time as Kostas Kostson finished a flowing move.

The second half took a dramatic turn as Buckden came out to determinedly take the contest to their opponents.

They dominated possession but lacked a significant finish and Eynesbury goalkeeper Cox looked confident and assured. Buckden did pull one goal back 10 minutes before the end when Sebastian Wolfe finished well but Eynesbury had the final word in added time when Radleigh Falconer added their fifth goal.
