Pupils from a primary school in Hong Kong have been learning about what life is like for British school children.

Two Huntingdonshire primary schools welcomed the group of 38 pupils visiting the UK as part of an integration program.

They attended Stukeley Meadows Primary School and Little Paxton Primary School and took part in Year 5 and 6 lessons.

Families also hosted some of the students.

Jenni Wilson, co-director of St Neots English Centre which arranged the visit, said: “Each pupil is buddying up with a pupil their own age and shadowing their lessons.

“The pupils are forming great friendships as well as each learning lots about the two different cultures.”

She added: “There will be many sad faces when they depart.”
