Buckden

Sunday November 30, 2014
1-5pm on the High Street
Festive attractions will include a Christmas market, donkey rides, and a raffle at Buckden's lights switch-on event. Black Cat Radio will be there on the day and visitors can meet Santa in his grotto, before warming up with a glass of mulled wine in the nearby pubs and hotels. The lights will be switched on by one of the village’s unsung heroes, as voted for by residents.

Ely

Ely Market Place. Live acts, stalls and a craft fair.

Harpenden

Sunday November 23, 2014
The Harpenden Christmas Carnival. The event is held in conjunction with the monthly Farmer's Market. Acts on stage from 12 noon. Procession runs along the High Street at 3pm, and the lights are switched on at 5pm. A Santa's Grotto will be open all day at Thompsons Close.

Huntingdon

Sunday November 23, 2014
Taking place at Market Square, Huntingdon Community Radio FM will be linking the various activities and introducing local acts. There will be free face painting and balloon modelling plus an appearance from Peppa Pig! The event takes place from 1pm-5pm with the festive parade at 4.30pm and the lights switch-on at 4.45pm.

Peppa Pig and family will be switching on the Queensgate Christmas lights.

Saturday November 15, 2014
2pm - 7pm
Cathedral Square
A packed programme of entertainment is planned. Following the switch-on there is a firework finale.

Saffron Walden

10am-5pm
Market Square
Christmas market, fun day and festive lights switch-on. The market will run from 10am-5pm and include stalls selling a range of products. From 10am-2pm, there will be buskers and street entertainers and throughout the afternoon there will be choirs performing. The Wimbish Military Wives choir will entertain for half-an-hour up to 3.30pm and at 4pm the Military Wives will perform. The lights will be switched on by Father Christmas and the Mayor, Councillor Sandra Eden.

Ramsey

Saturday November 26, 2014
9am-6.30pm
There will be a whole host of entertainment from local groups, schools, including charity stalls and a Christmas Fayre. A children's party will take place between 2.30pm-4pm and the evening entertainment will start at 5.30pm. The lights will be switched on at 6.30pm.

St Neots

12noon-7pm
Market Square
Dazzling displays are promised with fireworks and a brand new set of lights, plus a larger Christmas market, children’s craft area, and an appearance from Santa and his reindeer. Guests can also enjoy a fun fair and live performances from local bands and performance groups. Adding to the festivities will be plenty of tasty treats to try such as roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. Stevenage

The main event starts at 4pm with Heart fm's Stuart and Natalie. Lots of Hertfordshire talent will be a part of the event including Gabz, The Warriorz Performing Arts Academy, Roxy Searle and more.
