For more than 20 years, concert promoter Raymond Gubbay has been staging a wide range of Christmas entertainment across the UK in prestigious venues such as London’s Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow. This year will see an expansion of such activities with three festive performances at the Cambridge Corn Exchange in December.

On December 15, Jingle Bell Christmas promises the ultimate Christmas party and will include hits such as Mary’s Boy Child, Last Christmas, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and All I Want for Christmas Is You.

The following evening’s show is called White Christmas and is a programme of all-time favourite Christmas songs and carols. Both concerts will be performed by the London Concert Orchestra and Capital Voices Choir with guest singers Laura Tebbutt and Tim Howar (vocalist with Mike and The Mechanics). Intersecting these two shows there will be a special Saturday matinee performance by the UK’s most renowned big band, the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Directed by band leader Ray McVay, legendary classics will be played such as Little Brown Jug and Moonlight Serenade with a seasonal twist to include hits such as Let It Snow and White Christmas.

Jingle Bell Christmas - December 15 - 7.30pm.

Glenn Miller Orchestra - December 16 - 2.30pm.

White Christmas - December 16 - 7.30pm.
