Almost Famous Song Competition

AFTER the great success of previous Almost Famous Song Competitions, this year's contest is underway offering local bands the chance to win some great prizes.

Enter a song in the competition and you could win studio time to record it as a single. As soon as entries come in, we will feature them in the Almost Famous column in the paper.

A selection of the bands will be chosen to play at the awards presentation concert.

The competition is open to all Huntingdonshire songwriters. All band entries must have at least one member living in Huntingdonshire to qualify.

To be in with a chance of winning this year's competition, simply e-mail an MP3 of your song to theboyrichards@gmail.com along with the following information:

• Name of song.
• Full names/s of songwriter/s.
• Name of artist or band performing the song.
• Website address.
• Details of any upcoming gigs you would like us to mention.

Please also include a good quality photo of the songwriter/s and some background information about the person or people who wrote the song.
