Hunts AC enjoyed stacks of success in the first of two Cambridgeshire County Sportshall Championship event last Saturday.

The local club were responsible for the top two teams in the Under 11 Girls and Under 13 Girls sections of the indoor event which features events such as a vertical jump, speed bounce, standing triple jump and a host of different relays.

Moria Howard, Eva Howard and Zola Day were among the athletes to excel at the younger age group, and Lexi Flockhart, Macy Taylor and Tamzin Digpal-Rice all winning events in the older bracket.

Daniella Scholes and Ella Reed both completed individual doubles when helping the Under 15 Girls to glory and were part of a successful relay squad along with Lucy Small (also an individual winner) and Mae Macklin.

Alex Mortimer completed a hat-trick of honours at Under 11 Boys level, winning one individual event and starring in two relay triumphs. Ayo Opaleye (Under 15 Boys) also impressed with a double victory.
