NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: Title-chasing sides provide tests for St Neots Town and St Ives Town tonight

Manager Matt Clements insists there is no pressure on St Neots Town when they entertain the Southern League Premier Division table-toppers tonight.
Saints are in terrific form ahead of the visit of King’s Lynn Town to the Premier Plus Stadium, 7.45pm for a mouth-watering clash.
Clements’ men have risen to ninth position in the standings thanks to an eight-match unbeaten run which was extended by a 2-1 success at Bishop’s Stortford last Saturday when debutant Nabil Shariff hit a second-half winner.
He said: “There is no doubt we face a very tough game tonight against one of the top teams in the league – but there is no pressure on my lads.
“Our aim is just to perform to the levels we have reached during a good recent run.”
Leaders Lynn feature two former St Neots men – defender Tom Ward and winger Ryan Hawkins – in their squad. Both players left for the Norfolk club during last season.
St Ives Town also face title-chasing opponents tonight when travelling to Kettering Town, 7.45pm.
Striker Danny Watson goes straight into the squad after becoming the second member of the club’s promotion-winning side of 2015/16 to return to the club in recent days.
He has been snapped up from Step 4 side Barton Rovers after starting the season at St Neots. Goalkeeper Tim Trebes rejoined St Ives late last week.
Manager Ricky Marheineke said: “We’re delighted to have Danny back on board. We know exactly what he brings to the table.
“We’ve gone down the route of signing players who have not fitted into our dressing room or the way we play. We’re not going to risk bringing in anyone else who we don’t know or trust.”
St Ives are third-bottom after only managing three league wins all season.
